Serving Families
The Fertig Funeral Home is owned by Robert and Denise Fertig.* Robert C. Fertig, N.J. Lic. No. 4451, is the manager of the funeral home, and personally works with families to take care of their funeral service needs. Denise assists and supports her husband in caring for families. Together, Bob and Denise are dedicated to providing caring and personal service to grieving families, as well as to those planning for the future.
Bob has worked with many families over the years. He is a graduate of Mercer County College Mortuary Science Program and Gloucester County College.
Denise is a graduate of Georgetown University. She is a Certified Health Coach, having earned her certification at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, in affiliation with Columbia University. She is certified by the Board of the American Association of Drugless Practioners as a holistic health counselor.
Both Bob and Denise grew up in South Jersey and have made Mullica Hill their home. They are blessed with five children--two sons and three daughters.

We are grateful to God for this opportunity to be of service to families in Mullica Hill and our surrounding communities. Often times people will ask us how we do what we do. It is not always easy when we are serving grieving families, but we understand that it is far more difficult for them. When someone places their loved one in our care, we consider it an honor, a privilege and most importantly, a sacred trust . Knowing we have eased their burden gives us the fortitude to continue doing this work.
